Tweet Hunter Review: Hype Fury vs Tweet Hunter

  • Post author:

Welcome to Digital Whale Club. We are here to give you a no-fluff run down on some of the software that we use to help grow our online businesses. This post will be a detailed rundown of Tweet HUnter and our experience using the application for the past 7 months.

At one point, there was some drama on Twitter between the two major Tweet scheduling software companies (Hype Fury and Tweethunter) and in the midst of that we switched services to Hype Fury for a short period of time (2 months). By far, Tweethunter is the superior product and we found ourself switching back over pretty quickly.

Here are some key takeaways on why we love Tweethunter:

  • UI/UX is so much easier to understand and use. Clean and efficient

  • Great at sourcing ideas for tweets and predicting how well tweets will do based on the tweet history you provided

  • Resulted in real follower growth overtime and gives detailed analytics on your performance

My Thoughts About Tweethunter

First off, Tweethunter is not for you if you do not want to take your growth on Twitter seriously. You don’t need Tweethunter to grow a following but it does act as an incredible tool to help build a following. As I am writing this, my Twitter account has almost 2,000 followers. This is the biggest Twitter account I have ever grown and most people know that have done onto to grow account that 0 – 1000 is the hardest part.

Now there are always exceptions to the rules but I don’t really think I fit that category most of time. I was building more first 1,000 followers based on the fact that I love to build online businesses. I was showcasing all the things I was learning along the way and it piqued people’s interest enough to push me over that 1,000-follower threshold. Now, I like to believe that I am in the (blue belt) intermediate season of my journey and really trying to hone in on the value I bring to the marketplace.

I could not imagine myself getting to where I am without this tool in all honesty. Being a business owner, I am busy managing a lot of moving parts. I have Instagram accounts that need attention, I have crypto I have to buy/sell, contractors to check in on outlines to create, you name it. Being able to sit down for 20 – 30 minutes a day while I am drinking my morning coffee and create a week’s worth of content is a game changer both for my time and sanity.

Again, I do think you can get away with building up a following without this tool but the likelihood that you can stay consistent at the level it takes to grow is small. I don’t know your personal time commitment. I know that for only $49.99/month, this tool has been a no-brainer for me.

Tweethunter Review

I personally think that Tweethunter is the staple piece of software that any entrepreneur should have if they plan on taking their Twitter account seriously. I love using this and it has made my life so eays knowing that I have months of ideas being put out in the background while I focus on other parts of moving my businesses forward.

I won’t lie, there have been months where I was “out of ideas” and really had nothing to say, so my usage of the software was minimal. That is bound to happen unless you are really clear on what you have to offer from day one. Here is who I think Tweet Hunter is best for:

Tweet Hunter is Best For

  • Entrepreneurs looking to build an engaged following

  • Those who want to run automated accounts

  • Start up founders

Features I love

  • Content Creation: Tweethunter has an incredible AI assistant built inside the app that acts as a great helper in creating tweets for me. Sometimes the tweets can come off a bit corny much like a lot of the AI-generated content but in terms of crafting and creating great ideas, the feature is enjoyed. They also added a new feature where you can have AI-generated Images created inside your threads with a click of a button. You don’t really have too much creative control on how the image looks outside of the text inside the tweet.

  • Auto retweet: This feature has actually helped me gain massive amounts of traction on tweets. Setting the auto-retweet and auto-plug feature on does two things for you, one it gets the tweet in front of people who may have missed it because of time zone differences and two drops a second tweet under the OP (original post) if the tweet is gaining the traction you need it to. I typically tell people to subscribe to my email list or check out products I have to offer in the auto plug section.

  • UI/UX: I used both Hype Fury and Tweethunter. I personally love the UI/UX with Tweethunter way more and will never switch back. To me, Hype Fury felt more like Andriod and Tweethunter felt like the Apple product of Tweet Scheduling Software space. Most people’s pushback there is going to be a preference thing and I chose to run with Tweethunter.

Cost

For only $49.99 or the sale of two $25 products a month, you can use Tweethunter. At the end of the day, if you planning on running a business, spending money is part of the equation and arguably, I think this is the best software to own as a budding entrepreneur that is serious about growing on the platform.

Let’s say you are brand new to the game and want to start an online business, the biggest issue you are going to have in the beginning is getting eyeballs on what you have to offer. There is a lot of noise out there in the market. You need to stand out. You need distribution.

IF you bunkered down and added value for 6 months using Tweethunter, there is no doubt in my mind that you would have more than 1,000 followers within that time. After you have a recognized name and brand, things start to compound. When you have the distribution, any idea you have has the possibility of working because now there are people looking at what you have to offer.

Features I Don’t Use

There are a few features inside the application that feel like overkill to me but for those that see value in them I can understand why they were shipped in the first place.

Twitter CRM

I don’t need a CRM or even see value in it. I am not running a client-based business nor am I trying to sell anyone on high-ticket products in the dms. I can see those who are taking full advantage of this and keeping themselves very organized in the process.

Content Inspiration

Sometimes the AI is a bit corny and I do not find myself using the AI-generated tweets or content inspiration feature as much as I would probably like. At the end of the day, I think the feature is a good starting point and a cool add-on but I only really use it as a last resort.

Has it Been Worth it?

Yes, I have loved my purchase of Tweethunter. Again, I have never been able to grow a Twitter account passed 1,000 followers and I have been on the platform since 2015. Maybe that is because I was not using it in the right ways but that’s a story for another day.

Anyone who is serious about growth wants to build online businesses, or just wants to be a thought leader in their space should use Tweethunter to schedule and automate their posting so they avoid being chronically online.

Scheduling and Automation Tools: Tweethunter vs Hype Fury

hype fury vs tweethunter

It has been a while since I have used Hypefury and like I said earlier it was a short stint that I had using the software to begin with. The above list showcases the main differences between the two tools.

I was unaware that Hype Fury has the functionality to turn tweets into videos or still images to be placed on accounts on other major social platforms. For those who see value in these types of things, Hype Fury may be the better option. I am personally, very keen to have the tools I use feeling good and smooth, the last time I used Hype Fury it was not this. The UI/UX was clunky and did not offer the simplicity I was looking for like what Tweethunter had to offer.

It should be noted that Hype Fury’s starting price is $29.99/month. This tier does limit the number of tweets that you can schedule (up to one month) and only supports one account at this tier. Most of the features are the same as what is offered by Tweethunter. There is a a lot of opportunity to cross-post content using Hype Fury versus Tweethunter but do keep in mind that platforms are different and have different styles of content that do well. The days of still images moving the needle on IG are long gone.
